He holds a Master Degree in Business Law and a Professional Lawyer’s Certificate.

He is also a DESS in Public Economic Law holder and a trainer of trainers in International Contracts (Sales and International payments: Incoterms 2010, documentary credit …) under the aegis of the ICC.

He was admitted to the Bar of Côte d’Ivoire in January 2001 and was a member of the Bar Council from 2011 to 2013. He is currently the treasurer of CARPA (Lawyers’ Pecuniary Payment Fund) of the Ivorian Bar Association.

His main areas of practice are:

– Business law (companies, national and international commercial contracts, social, banking, transport, insurance, criminal, etc.);
– Civil Law;
– Public Procurement Law;
– Construction and Urban development Law;
– Customs Law

Having regularly given at least consultations to several public and private law bodies and institutions, he has a good command of:

– Petroleum Law;
– Telecommunication Law;
– Tax Law and Tax Procedures;
– Economic Partnership Agreements;
– Sustainable development law;

He underwent a training in arbitration by the Court of Arbitration of Cote d’Ivoire (CACI) and may serve as appointed arbitrator or as a counsel in an arbitration proceeding.

He was, over a long period, the local legal consultant to the United Nations Industrial Development Organization in Côte d’Ivoire (UNIDO); and as such he was specifically involved in the creation and legal organization of Ivorian SMEs in to export consortia;

It is now increasingly working on PPPs.

He assumes the functions of legal secretary for several national and international companies.

He is fluent in both spoken and written English which is his real working language in dealing with his Anglo-Saxon clients.
